Usage reports in the Teams admin center can show call quality metrics, including packet loss stats. So yeah, option A looks correct here. Pretty sure that's where you check for these details after a pilot. If anyone saw something different on test, let me know.
1
Option A makes sense since the usage reports in Teams admin center can highlight packet loss trends during calls for the pilot group. B is tempting if you expect deep analysis, but for just identifying packet loss, A should cover it. If I missed a detail, happy to be corrected.

Note: This question is part of a series of questions that present the same scenario. Each question in the series contains a unique solution that might meet the stated goals. Some question sets might have more than one correct solution, while others might not have a correct solution. After you answer a question in this section, you will NOT be able to return to it. As a result, these questions will not appear in the review screen. Your company has a Microsoft 365 subscription. You need to prevent a user named User1 from permanently deleting private chats in Microsoft Teams. Solution: You place the group mailboxes used by Microsoft Teams on Litigation Hold. Does this meet the goal?

Its D, you need to set a custom phone number order at the user level in Teams admin center. This way, Allan’s invites show Toronto then Paris. Pretty sure tenant-wide policies don’t override user customization for this unless specified otherwise. Agree?
2
Not sure about C here. D matches what I've seen in practice questions, since only a user-level custom number list guarantees the order (Toronto then Paris). C is tempting but misses that detail.
Q: 3
You need to configure the environment to meet the security requirements for the R&D group. What should you do first?

Maybe C, since Teams admin center has options for allowing specific domains for external access. I think a lot of folks miss that guest access and external access aren't exactly the same though, so could be a trap here.
1
Why not C? That one’s more for Teams federation, not true guest access. Feels like A is the real requirement here.
Q: 4
Your company has a Microsoft 365 subscription. You recently set the company's Microsoft Teams upgrade policy to Teams only coexistence mode. A user reports that several online meetings are configured to use Microsoft Skype for Business. You need to convert the online meetings in the user’s calendar to use Microsoft Teams. What are two possible ways to achieve the goal? Each correct answer presents a complete solution. NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

D. not B

Ugh, Microsoft loves to make the Teams location stuff overly complicated. For this scenario, why not just enable external location lookup mode in the emergency calling policy? That way Teams can grab the address from the device itself and route based on where the user is. You only really need manual network/location co
Q: 5
You network contains an on-premises Active Directory domain that syncs to a Microsoft 365 subscription. From the Microsoft Teams client, you create a new team named Sales. You need to ensure that the team includes all users in the company’s sales department. The solution must ensure that the new employees hired for the sales department are added automatically to the team. Which tool should you use to configure the membership of the Sales group?

I don't think D is right here. The group settings in the M365 admin center won't handle the 30-day restore or enforce group expiration for Teams like B does. Pretty sure that's the catch-B handles both requirements.
2
B tbh, I've seen similar on practice sets and that cmdlet covers both expiration and restore requirements for Teams groups.

B , I had something like this in a mock exam. Alert policies in Security & Compliance are made for admin notifications when things like new Teams get created. Makes sense here, but let me know if you see it differently.
2
B saw a similar one in a mock. Alert policy covers notifications for new Teams created this way. Pretty confident here.

You have a Microsoft 365 subscription that uses Microsoft Teams. You feed 10 identify which teams were inactive during the past 90 days. What should you use?

Its B. Those PowerShell cmdlets only set general Azure AD external policies, but they can’t specifically limit Teams guest access to certain domains or stop guests from inviting others. Teams requires separate controls for those details. Pretty sure about this, but open if someone’s set it up differently.
1
I don’t think it’s A. B.
Q: 8
Your company has a Microsoft 365 subscription. A user invites an external user to join a Microsoft Teams meeting by using a Microsoft Outlook meeting invitation. The external user cannot join the meeting. You need to ensure that all external users can join Microsoft Team meetings. What should you do from the Microsoft Teams admin center?

Its B here. Changing Sharing settings in M365 admin won't stop guests from turning on cameras in Teams. You'd need to tweak Teams meeting policies for that. Pretty sure, but open to correction if I missed something.
1
B here, not A. Sharing settings in the admin center only cover access for files and links, doesn't touch camera or device permissions for Teams meetings. Easy to mix up the admin settings but this one needs a Teams policy change. Pretty sure that's what shows up on practice sets, unless I'm missing something big.

Your company uses Teams. Users often use Teams mobile apps to make and receive calls. You change the display name for a user named User1. User! reports that their previous name still appears when they receive incoming calls in the Teams mobile app. You need to ensure that the updated display name for User1 appears. What should you do?

Option D

C or D? I remember supervision policies have monitoring features, so I thought C could fit if you want to track cross-department invites. Not 100 percent positive it blocks them though, so maybe that's a stretch. Anyone else think C is valid here?
Q: 10
Your company has a Microsoft subscription. The Microsoft 365 tenant uses a domain named contoso.com. You need to ensure that team channels can receive email only from users in the company and email addresses that use an email domain named @fabrikam.com. What should you modify?

I get why folks might think C, but the menu has to be identical at all times so that's a trap. D is more correct since it makes sure the options never change, even outside of business hours. If I'm missing something let me know!
1
D , since the prompt says "same menu at all times," which means 24/7 consistency, not just during business hours. In Teams you set the auto attendant to use one menu and choose 24/7 availability to make sure callers always get identical options. I think that's right but if someone knows a Teams shortcut I'm missing, le

Your company uses Teams. You are assigned the Teams Communications Support Specialist role. You need to be assigned a role that will enable you to publish a new app to the Teams apps page. The solution must follow the principle of least privilege. Which role should be assigned to you?

Probably D. Custom update policy just for Adele is needed here since it shouldn't go to everyone else. Org-wide/global would cover too many users. I think that's what the question's after but open if someone spotted a gotcha.
Not C, D is the one that fits. It's about scope-custom policy for Adele only, so global/org-wide would be too broad here. Ran into similar wording on exam dumps and it always wanted user-specific targeting.

Option B. Litigation Hold doesn't prevent deleting Teams private chats, easy to miss that trap.
Looks like B, saw something similar in recent exam reports. Litigation Hold doesn't actually stop Teams chat deletions.

YES YES YES. Teams admin policies all line up for these answers, looks just like what I saw in some recent exam practice. If you want to get clearer on this, official MS docs and the practice test explanations are really helpful.

HOTSPOT Your company has a Microsoft 365 subscription that uses Phone System. You need to configure Microsoft Teams to meet the following requirements: Ensure that calls to the company’s sales department are routed to multiple users in the sales department. Why would you open inbound ports for Teams cloud? Pretty sure it's outbound 80 and 443 only, the inbound option is a classic distractor here.

Had something like this in a mock, it's just outbound 80 and 443 needed for Teams cloud.

Not sure if the upgrade policy should be TeamsOnly for all, or a mix with Islands mode based on group needs. Anyone remember which mode fits better if they still need Skype features?

Not quite, for US it's Calling Plan since the goal is minimal infra; France and Belgium need Direct Routing.
1
Makes sense for Belgium to use Direct Routing, France with Direct Routing for the on-prem PBX, US should go Calling Plan.

Grant-CsTeamsAppPermissionPolicy, I've seen similar on practice sets.

Just curious, are we looking at only the default global policies or is there any info about custom/per-user overrides? The screenshots look like global settings, but Teams can get tricky if something else is layered on top. Anyone spot a user-level policy here?
3
So if the global policy is what applies here, shouldn't both statements be marked as Yes based on those policy screenshots?

If guest access is disabled in the live event policy, would external presenters still be able to join at all?
Looks like organizer options might be limited since guest users are involved. I'd say the organizer can't assign a guest as a presenter in this policy setting. If you want to double check, the official guide or the live events policy doc is a good source. Pretty sure on this but happy if someone caught a detail I mi
