The directions of influence method highlights how stakeholders affect either the project work itself or the project team. The power/interest and power/influence grids help sort stakeholders by authority, interest, and their ability to influence changes. The stakeholder cube expands on these grids by offering a three-dimensional perspective to better map the community. Finally, the salience model is a framework that classifies stakeholders based on the attributes of power, urgency, and legitimacy, providing a richer prioritization scheme.
