A. Had something like this in a mock before, and A matches what Oracle expects-SUM(salary) with both dept_id and join_date in GROUP BY. The others have typos or try to nest aggregates directly. Pretty sure A is right, but open to corrections.

Interesting to see C mentioned, but I'm pretty sure it's not valid. You can't do MAX(AVG(salary)) directly without a subquery, Oracle doesn't allow nesting those like that. A is the only one that follows proper GROUP BY rules here. Anyone see legit use for C without extra steps?
