Q: 1
Universal Containers has recently implemented and released CPQ to users in their production environment. After an extensive testing Cycle in a sandboxed environment. One of the automations implemented was to set every new quote created as "primary" at the time of creation in order to save clicks. Users immediately began to report errors when trying to create quotes in the production environment for the first time. What could have caused this issue?

D . If users don't have Quote object access, any automation on quote creation will fail right away. Pretty standard permissions thing.
2
D it's about quote creation itself not quote lines. Open if anyone sees a case for C here.

Totally makes sense to go with C for this. Cancel and Rebill is what Salesforce recommends once an invoice is posted.
1
Totally C. A posted invoice is locked down, so only Cancel and Rebill lets you fix or add stuff from another order.
Q: 3
You are implementing the Design Document for a large Enterprise Revenue Cloudprojecthaving multiple lookup price rules supporting a complex pricing requirement in the Buildphase. During construction the customer discovers additional logic and external datastores that need to be incorporated in order to achieve the correct pricing in a particular setof use cases. You estimate the lookup price rules will need to be modified, additional ruleswill need to be created and API development will beneeded. As an Implementationconsultant what is the appropriate course of action that should take in this predicament?

Option C is the right step, you need to inform the project manager so they can assess impact on scope, budget, and schedule. Pretty sure that's standard practice for any major design change in build phase.
5
C . Any time there's added logic and integration, it's a scope change that hits timeline and budget, so project manager needs to drive next steps. If this were just config or minor tweaks, maybe another option, but not here imo. Disagree?

Not sure about E for this one. In similar exam scenarios, A, B, D were the picks since they directly map to process and product requirement docs. Anyone else seen E selected on actual exams?
1
If it was about technical compatibility, would C actually be more helpful than A or B here?
Q: 5
Which two steps should an implementation team take to integrate Revenue Cloud to another system?

B/D? Mapping fields and architecture design fit integration steps, but if manual was in scope maybe C. Not 100% sure.
1
B and D are what I'd pick too. Mapping fields (B) and designing the architecture (D) are core steps for actual system integration, not just data handoff. C feels more like a temporary workaround than integration. Pretty sure that's the intent here, but open if someone has seen C used in real projects.
Q: 6
During Scoping the customer indicated that they neededcustomization to salesforce CPQDue to a process in a legacy system what is the first stepin ensuring the requirement isAccounted for in Scoping?

Makes sense to go with A here. Asking follow up questions helps confirm if customization is really needed or just legacy habit, which avoids scoping in unnecessary work. Pretty sure that's Salesforce's standard approach, but open to other views.
2
Not convinced B or C should be first, since you'd be planning customization before confirming it's even needed. You want to dig in and make sure the legacy process has a real business reason before anything else. That's why A makes more sense to me-gather info first so you don't just build extra work. Anyone disagre
Q: 7
What are two benefits to having trained customer CPQ admins participate in the planning, design and build phases?(Q2R)

Maybe AE. C is tempting but it feels geared toward business outcomes, not what admins get out of joining the process. E matches post-go-live support which is a big admin benefit. Not 100 percent sure though, would like to see more context on how they define 'benefit' here.
1
I don't think C is right. The real benefits for admins are A and E, since they're directly about smoother testing and keeping things running after go-live. C is more of a business-side advantage, not admin-specific.

A user story for a Revenue Cloud implementation states. As an Accounts ReceivableManager, I want to automatically generate invoices in draft status the same day of everymonth”. what implementation option should a revenue cloud consultant pursue first?

I think D, since Payment Scheduler should handle invoice generation on a monthly schedule. Anyone else choose D?
1
Yeah, this matches what I've seen on practice too. A is the only one that actually automates invoice creation on a monthly schedule without coding anything. Triggers or workflow (B/C) are for event-based stuff, not timed runs. Pretty confident here unless I'm missing a new feature.

Sales reps at UC were facing governor limits while configuring certain large bundles, theadmin at UC has set the ‘enable large configurations package settings to TRUE now theusers are experiencing longer loading times between saving a bundle configuration andreturning to the quote line editor, even for smaller bundles.what should the admin do toresolve this issue?

Option A Good question, similar logic came up in some practice sets. Selectively enabling on only the needed bundles makes total sense.
2
C or D maybe. Splitting bundles (C) is something I’ve seen in practice tests as a fix for governor limits, and disabling the large config setting (D) might help speed up smaller bundles. Haven’t found a clear answer in the official guide though, so someone correct me if I missed something.

Why not E? Salesforce covers basic invoices natively, but watermarks and redlining usually need an app.
1
Not E, it's got to be A, C, D. Salesforce doesn't do watermarks or real contract redlining out of the box, same for advanced electronic signature. Seen similar question in some practice dumps, pretty sure that's what they want here.
Q: 11
Which three documents help a revenue cloud consultant better understand the client’s Revenue Cloud Project requirements before speakingfor the first time in a scopingsession?

A. B, D imo. Those three give a good picture of how the client actually does business, what they sell, and their quoting/approval process. C is just system release updates, not about scoping project requirements. Pretty sure this lines up with official guidance.
1
Nah, not C. It's A, B and D since those show what the client provides, their quoting style, and required approvals. Patch notes (C) are more system-side, that's the trap here if you skim too fast. Saw similar in practice sets. Anyone disagree?
Q: 12
Universal Containers is beginning the process of SKU rationalization as part of their Revenue Cloud project. They have been advised that rationalizing their product catalog will reduce complexity and increase flexibility. Which three areas can they look to consolidate products?

Its B D E. C is a trap since bulk discounts use price books, not extra SKUs. Agree or see it different?
1
I get why people mention C, but for SKU rationalization and flexibility, it's really B, D, and E. Those all relate to product attributes that can be consolidated without making the catalog a mess. I'm pretty sure that's the logic here, but correct me if I'm missing something!

A Company that sells hardware and software has a project Requirement to migrate legacyInstall base into salesforce CPQ along with the contract. Which objects will need to be populated for this effort?

D B tbh. Assets captures the physical stuff, subscriptions tracks recurring licenses under contract. Quote would only be needed if they asked for historical quoting data, which isn’t in scope here. Anyone see differently?
1
D B tbh
Q: 14
A Revenue Cloud Consultant Surveys a customer’sSales Cloud implementation anddiscovers Multiple triggers, Workflow and flow Processes applied to the Opportunityobject. what is the most appropriate recommendation tothe customer before designing aRevenue Cloud Solution?

Option A here. Best practice is to stick to a single automation type on Opportunity for performance and simplicity, especially before doing a Revenue Cloud rollout. Multiple triggers and flows get messy fast. Pretty sure that's what the exam wants, but open to other takes.
5
Option A makes sense because mixing triggers, workflow, and flows on the same object usually causes conflicts and performance hits. I saw a similar question in some exam reports. Best to stick with a single automation type for maintainability.
Q: 15
An invoice run with a target date of 6/1/20 has completed with no errors.an orderproductwith a next billing date of 6/1/20 did not generate an invoice line.which of the following ields might hold a value that would account for this?

Option D makes sense here, not B-'billing day of month' can stop invoice lines if the dates don't line up. Tricky field.
2
You’re right to question that, but I still go with D for this scenario.
