Fom the Author:

Hey, I’m Aidan. My career in IT started with Linux and helpdesk support, but networking was what really caught my interest. Learning how data moves, how systems connect, and how to build reliable networks pushed me into Cisco technologies and deeper into IT infrastructure. Like a lot of learners, I didn’t have everything figured out in the beginning. I spent late nights in labs, breaking things and fixing them again until it finally clicked. That’s why I like writing for Cert Empire, I know how confusing networking concepts can feel, and my goal is to make them easier to understand. Over the years, I’ve worked on enterprise networking setups, helped teams prepare for Cisco exams, and shared what I’ve learned through mentoring. What I enjoy most is seeing others finally “get it” when a tough topic makes sense or when someone passes an exam they thought was impossible. Outside of IT, I’m usually experimenting with automation scripts, playing guitar, or finding a new coffee shop to spend hours studying in. Networking is more than a job for me, it’s a craft I love to explore and share.

MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator) validates your ability

AZ-700 vs AZ-305: Should You Specialize in Networking or Go Broad as a Solutions Architect?

AZ-700 and AZ-305 sit at the same Expert-adjacent level in Microsoft’s Azure certification stack, but they ask you to go in different directions. AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer Associate) is implementation-level: it validates deep, hands-on networking expertise across VNets, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, DNS, and network security. AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is architecture-level: it validates the
