Q: 1
Cloud Kicks (CK) is partnering with a used shoe store and second-hand bicycle emporium. CK has an automated business process it wants to run once a week to count the number of open cases related to an Account. Which flow should a Platform Administrator recommend automating within Flow Builder for this business process?

Option A is right, since B is a trap here for record changes but question wants weekly automation not case updates.
1
I don’t think B applies here since record-triggered flows only fire when records change, not on a fixed weekly schedule. The question's asking for something that runs every week, regardless of data changes, so it's got to be A. A bit tricky if you haven't used scheduled flows before, but makes sense. Anyone see a us

A sales rep at Ursa Major Solar has launched a series of networking events. They are hosting one event per month and want to be able to report on Campaign ROI by month and series. How should a Platform Administrator set up the Campaign to simplify reporting?

Option C That Campaign Hierarchy setup makes reporting by month and series super easy. I’ve seen similar questions and campaign rollups are the standard way in Salesforce for ROI breakdowns like this.
1
Yeah, C makes sense here. With the campaign hierarchy, you get ROI rollups for each monthly event and for the whole series with way less manual work. Record types (D) don't really help with reporting across a series like this. Pretty sure that's what they're looking for.
Q: 3
A VP of sales needs to report on records owned by individuals in various parts of the role hierarchy. The organization-wide default is set to Private. What should a Platform Administrator configure to achieve this?

B. That's the only way to grant access across different parts of the hierarchy when OWD is private.
1
Official documentation covers this, so check the Salesforce admin guide. Sharing Rules (B) are what you'd set up when OWD is Private and you need to grant access across the role hierarchy, like for a VP. Pretty sure that's what practice sets show too, but let me know if I'm missing some edge case.
Q: 4
A Platform Administrator at Universal Containers needs an automated way to delete records based on field values. Which automated solution should the administrator use?
Options

1
Probably A, since Flow Builder can automate deletes using scheduled or record-triggered flows with filter criteria. Mass Delete Records (C) is manual. Automation Studio and Orchestration (B/D) aren't for core Salesforce automations like this as far as I know. Anyone think B could work here?
Why not C? Mass Delete lets you pick criteria, isn't that automated enough?
Q: 5
A Platform Administrator needs to create a new prompt template to automatically summarize customer cases for a sales team. The administrator wants to dynamically populate the response with data from the case record. What should the administrator use to display real Salesforce data in an agent response from a prompt template?

D. not C. Agent Instructions just give plain text guidance, Merge Fields actually show record data.
5
Option D and they could word this better. Merge Fields are what let you pull in real-time case data straight into the template, so the summary has actual details from Salesforce. Seen a similar question on a few practice sets. Everything else (like A or B) just won’t fill in specific record info.
Q: 6
A sales rep has a list of 300 accounts with contacts that they want to load at one time. Which tool should a Platform Administrator utilize to import the records to Salesforce?
Options

Option C is what I'd choose since Data Import Wizard is simple for under 50k records and supports Accounts/Contacts out of the box. No need for install or dealing with Dataloader configs. If they wanted advanced mapping or mass jobs, then maybe D would make sense but in this case, C feels right. Unless I’m missing s
4
I always pick C for these low-volume, standard object imports. Data Import Wizard is quick and user friendly, doesn't need extra install steps like D. Pretty sure that's what the exam wants, but let me know if you disagree.
Q: 7
The Cloud Kicks sales team has asked that two of the fields that appear on the Opportunity cards in Kanban view be changed to make the cards more meaningful. Which feature should a Platform Administrator access to make this change?
Options
28 comments in the community discussion
3
Option B is correct here. Compact Layout controls the fields shown on Opportunity cards in Kanban view, not Page Layout or Kanban Settings. Saw this come up in practice tests and the official study guide. If anyone thinks otherwise let me know.
1
Its B, compact layout controls what shows on the Kanban cards. D sounds right but it's really just filters.
Q: 8
Cloud Kicks wants a report to categorize accounts into small, medium, and large based on the dollar value found in the Contract Value field. Which feature should a Platform Administrator use to meet this request?
Options
27 comments in the community discussion
3
Makes sense to pick D here. Bucket Column lets you group the contract values into those custom categories right in the report builder, no custom fields needed. I think that's exactly what they're looking for.
2
Pretty sure D is what I saw in a similar Salesforce admin practice set. D
Q: 9
A Platform Administrator at Cloud Kicks has a custom picklist field on Lead, which is missing on the Contact when leads are converted. Which two steps should the administrator take to ensure these values are populated?
Options
29 comments in the community discussion
1
Option D, setting the picklist as required on Lead, won't populate anything on Contact. Easy to mix up.
1
C alone isn't enough, you need B too. The custom field has to exist on Contact for mapping (C) to even work.
Q: 10
A Platform Administrator at Cloud Kicks is setting up a new Salesforce instance. The business requirements mandate that the marketers are given access to opportunities in order to maintain the campaign relationships on each opportunity. The administrator decides to assign the Marketing User profile. What should the administrator do next to achieve this requirement?
Options
27 comments in the community discussion
1
A imo. Marketers need object-level access to Opportunities and that's set on the profile. B looks tempting if you want flexibility for just a few users, but the question asks about the whole Marketing User profile. Anyone disagree?
1
A , but I get why some might think B if they're used to always using permission sets for flexibility. With profiles you control object permissions directly, so that's the usual first step here.
Q: 11
A sales manager at Cloud Kicks would like a dashboard to emphasize some important data and tell a more compelling data story to the sales reps. How should a Platform Administrator achieve this for the sales manager?

A . Had a really similar scenario during a mock and Text Widget was the go-to for adding explanations or context right on the dashboard, which matches what they want for data storytelling. Not 100% but feels like the only option actually meant for this.
1
Practice exams and the official Salesforce doc both point to A here.
Q: 12
Leadership at Cloud Kicks wants to go beyond knowing how long a case has been open for, to knowing how long a case has sat with different teams. Which tool gives a Platform Administrator the ability to track the time a case sits and provide relevant reporting?

If anything, D here. Had something like this in a mock, Milestones with Business Hours give clear time tracking per team for cases. The reporting is native and much easier than trying to hack it with flows, unless they want complex automation. Agree?
1
I was thinking B (Record-Triggered Flows with Business Hours) because you could use flows to stamp timestamps each time ownership changes and calculate durations. That way admins could build a report based on team assignment history. Not 100% sure if it's as native or detailed as D, but it seems doable for tracking
Q: 13
How should a Platform Administrator provide users with individualized views of data on a dashboard?
Options
10 comments in the community discussion
1
Yeah B matches what Salesforce expects, since dynamic dashboards automatically adjust the data to the current user's permissions. Filters (A) help a bit, but don’t change what data each user can see based on their own access. Pretty sure B is right here, but happy if someone sees it differently.
Honestly I think it's B here, since only dynamic dashboards give each user their own data view. Not 100 percent sure though.
Q: 14
The Universal Containers sales team wants a visual way to manage their opportunity pipeline that allows them to see all deals at once, track progress through sales stages, and quickly move opportunities forward. Which feature should a Platform Administrator recommend to meet these requirements?
Options
11 comments in the community discussion

Kanban totally fits here because it's both visual and lets you drag opportunities across stages in real time. Reports or dashboards just show the data, they don't let you actually move deals ahead in the process. I remember similar wording coming up before so pretty confident on this one, but open to other thoughts
6
Kanban view with card fields and drag-and-drop matches what they're asking for: you see opportunities by stage and can update progress just by moving cards. Pretty sure they test this on the cert too. Anyone disagree?
Q: 15
A sales manager at DreamHouse Realty wants sales users to have a quick way to view and update the opportunities in their pipeline expected to close in the next 90 days. What should a Platform Administrator do to accomplish this request?
Options

D, Kanban list view gives fastest way for users to see and update opps in one place.
2
Create a list view filtered to next 90 days, then recommend users use Kanban mode to drag-and-drop updates. That way, sales can both see and quickly update opps in one spot. Pretty sure this is what Salesforce wants here, unless I'm missing some twist.
Q: 16
What are three characteristics of a master-detail relationship?

D tbh

Yep, B C D. Owner is always set by the master and only these support roll-ups.
Q: 17
The VP of sales at Cloud Kicks has a standard sales profile and is receiving an error message that prevents them from saving an opportunity. A Platform Administrator attempted the same edit without receiving an error. How should the administrator troubleshoot this issue?
Options
9 comments in the community discussion
2
I'd go with A since troubleshooting as a system admin makes sense, but maybe missing that it won't match the exact user's permissions. Not 100% if user-specific errors would always show up for the admin though. Agree?
Its A, sys admin should be able to see logs and error messages directly for troubleshooting I think.
Q: 18
Agentforce is escalating cases to the support team, but the support team complains they have no context and have to ask the customer to repeat everything. Which configuration issue is the most likely cause of this issue?
Options
15 comments in the community discussion
1
C or D. I feel like if agents are blocking the history with their instructions, that would explain missing context too. And creating new cases on handoff makes info hard to track as well. Not 100 percent sure, chime in if you see it differently.
1
My pick: B here. If the case page layout for support doesn't have that agent history component, they won't see what happened before escalation. Pretty common config miss in Service Cloud setups. Open to other takes on this but feels like the cleanest fit.
Q: 19
A sales rep wants to be able to categorize multiple picklist values into a single value on a report. Which option should a Platform Administrator suggest to the sales rep to accomplish this?
Options
11 comments in the community discussion
2
Option A. Saw a similar question in some exam reports and bucket columns is what Salesforce wants here.
1
Nah, I don't think B or C would help here. A bucket column (A) is made for grouping multiple picklist values together just in a report-super handy, and you don’t need to touch the source data. Unique Count just tells you how many distinct values, and Report Filter only filters. Pretty sure A is right based on what Sale

The client services and customer support teams share the same profile but have different permission sets. The custom object Retention related list needs to be restricted to the client services team on the Lightning record page layout. What should a Platform Administrator use to fulfill this request?
Options
12 comments in the community discussion
5
B . If both teams use the same profile, page layouts can't split them up, but component visibility can target permission sets. Standard Salesforce quirk here.
2
Its B, component visibility is the only option here since you can target permission sets directly on Lightning pages. Page Layout Assignment (A) would hit both teams if they share a profile, that's the trap answer. Pretty sure about B, but let me know if anyone had other experience.
