Q: 10
A project manager just completed a successful deployment and is preparing to transition the project to an operational state before starting closeout actions. What should the project manager do to ensure that the project is ready to move to an operational state?

A tbh, every practice exam and the official guide I used said to check deliverables via WBS here.
Don't think C is right, even though it mentions approvals. The real focus before transitioning to operations is making sure all deliverables in the WBS have been completed. So A makes more sense here, pretty sure that's what PMI wants.
Anyone else seen this topic covered in the official guide or practice tests? I remember most resources pushing review of the WBS and deliverables for operational handover, but curious if there's a scenario where PMI wants approval confirmation first instead.
A here. In the exam guide, verifying all deliverables against the WBS is what PMI wants for confirming operational readiness, before you even think about closeout or approvals. Official guide and practice tests back this up. Pretty confident but open if someone got different info.
A imo
A not C. The trap is thinking approval is the key step, but readiness means confirming all deliverables first.
C vs A for me. C is tempting since you want to know who's signing off if approval's needed, but the question focuses on readiness, not formal closeout. Reviewing the WBS in A directly checks if all deliverables are met, which is what matters here I think. Anyone see it differently?
A imo but C isn't totally off. Reviewing the WBS with the team confirms all deliverables are done, which is key before transition to ops. Project approval stuff (C) matters too, just not as directly tied to readiness. Anyone think different?
A
Looking at the question, C is tempting but WBS review (A) directly ensures all deliverables are ready. Easy to mix those up.

A imo. Reviewing the WBS with the team is classic PMI to confirm all deliverables are done before officially moving to operations. C is more about approval authority, which isn't quite the readiness check they're asking for. Let me know if you see it different!
