The standard Net Zero Cloud data model defines specific, out-of-the-box relationships for the Energy Use Record object. Each Energy Use Record has a required lookup relationship to a single asset (via the GeneralAssetId field). Concurrently, it has a many-to-many relationship with the Carbon Footprint object. This structure allows a single energy record (e.g., a utility bill for a building) to contribute to multiple different carbon footprint calculations (e.g., the building's footprint and the parent company's overall footprint).

A: An Energy Use Record is designed to be linked to only a single asset, not multiple assets.
