An administrator needs to create a VM Template from an existing VM. What is required for this action to be successful?

D . Nutanix always needs the VM powered off before you can make a template, no exceptions I’ve seen.
D
C or D here. C feels like a trap since Windows OS isn't actually required for the template, but I was sure there was an OS check once. Anyone else hit that before?
D , Nutanix needs the VM powered off before you can convert it to a template. Otherwise, it won't let you do the action at all. Pretty sure this is mandatory and not just best practice, but correct me if I'm missing something.
D , because Nutanix enforces that the VM must be powered off before converting to a template. If the question was about prepping for deployments then A might matter, but here only D fits. Correct me if anyone's seen a loophole.
Has to be D. Nutanix won't let you convert unless the VM is powered off, that's a hard requirement from the Prism UI in my experience. I think A is only relevant if they're asking about prepping for deployment, not template creation.
Probably D since Nutanix forces you to power off the VM before converting it to a template. A is sometimes good for automation but not required here. Let me know if anyone's seen otherwise in recent versions?
Is there any scenario where A applies for template creation in Nutanix, or is it always D unless they specifically mention automation/cloud-init?
So annoying how they always try to catch you with powered on vs off. D for sure.
D
