A. Development: This environment is used by developers to write and unit-test code; it is not used for final, integrated pre-production testing.

C. Live: This is the production environment used by end-users. Deploying untested changes here is highly risky and violates deployment management principles.

D. Integration: This environment is used earlier in the lifecycle to test how different modules or components work together, not for final pre-release validation.
