A. Had something like this in a mock, Aruba captive portal does Layer 3 authentication since it intercepts HTTP after association. Not Layer 2 like MAC auth and not 802.1x. Pretty standard for captive portals.
Its D here, since the user actually connects before hitting the portal so I was thinking Layer 2. But maybe that's a trap, I'm not completely sure.
D imo, but I saw similar on a practice set and they marked A. Not totally sure here.
Captive portals on Aruba use Layer 3 since the device needs an IP and sends HTTP traffic before being redirected. Pretty sure it's A for this question.
C or D? I remember Aruba using 802.1x in some setups so maybe C fits better.
C/D? Had something like this in a mock, picked D.
Seriously wish Aruba would just call this out in their docs instead of making us dig through PDFs. A for sure, captive portal works at Layer 3 since it catches user HTTP traffic and redirects for web login. Seen similar question on other practice sets.
A , captive portal is Layer 3 since it catches HTTP after you join. Pretty sure that fits Aruba's setup.
Nah, it's not D. The real answer is A.
D
