The default network profile for a VxRail cluster with four NICs configures a single vSphere Distributed Switch (VDS). For the VxRail management traffic, the default teaming and failover policy uses two uplinks in an active/standby configuration to ensure redundancy without complex switch-side configuration. Specifically, the "Management Network" port group is configured to use vmnic0 as the active uplink and vmnic1 as the standby uplink. This setup does not use or require link aggregation (LACP), which is an optional, non-default configuration.
