Pretty sure it's B. D is a bit of a trap, cost goes up the closer you get to production.
Ugh, classic ISTQB wording. B, that cost definitely goes up the later you find a bug.
Man, ISTQB always hammers this one. Probably B, since bugs get way pricier to fix the further along you are in the SDLC.
Its B since the later a defect gets found, the more rework and impact it has. Pretty standard ISTQB logic here. Not totally sure if they ever ask this backward but this matches what I’ve seen in practice.
