Q: 3
Cloud Kicks needs to implement a group of campaigns that are related to a specific marketing initiative to report on success. What should a consultant recommend to meet the requirement?

B. parent campaign is made for this kind of grouping in Salesforce, just use the built-in hierarchy.
B , Parent Campaign field is built in and meant for exactly this. No need to complicate things with custom objects.
B
I see why B is usually picked. Parent Campaign links everything for better rollup reporting.
Actually it's B, Parent Campaign field. That handles campaign grouping for reporting just fine in most use cases.
C tbh. I figured a custom Campaign Group object would allow more flexibility if marketing has complex relationships between campaigns, not just parent-child. Maybe I'm missing a standard feature, but feels like C covers broader needs. Anyone see an issue with that logic?
B not C. Parent Campaign field is made exactly for grouping campaigns under one initiative. Custom object feels like a trap here.
I was thinking C since custom objects are more flexible. If Cloud Kicks wants more complex grouping and not just parent-child, wouldn't a Campaign Group object work? Not fully sure though, feel free to correct me.
B , Salesforce already lets you group campaigns with the Parent Campaign field out of the box. Makes reporting on initiatives a lot easier and no need for custom objects here. I've seen similar wording before and B was correct but open to other views if I've missed something!
B tbh. Parent Campaign lets you group related campaigns natively in Salesforce, so you can easily roll up reporting for the initiative.
