CORRECT TEXT _________ is defined as a person who works for the victim organization and who is primary culprit
I don't think it's just "employee" or "suspect" here-the exam wants the proper term. Pretty sure "principal perpetrator" is right since that's the one who actually commits the fraud within the organization. Saw a distractor with "collaborator" in some practice stuff, but that's not specific enough. Let me know if you see it differently.
Is there any other accepted term for the main insider who commits the fraud, or does "principal perpetrator" always cover it on the exam? Just checking if there's ever an exception in wording.
Yeah, I'd call that principal perpetrator. That's the standard term for the main insider committing fraud in exam questions like this. Not just any employee or accomplice, has to be the primary actor from within. Unless I'm missing some fine print here?
