Policies and procedures are internal rules that shape organizational functioning, making them internal EEFs. Knowledge bases and lessons learned represent non-updated OPAs, as they are existing historical organizational process assets that guide current work. Resource skills and availability reflect updated capabilities and adjustments to assets, so they belong to updated OPAs. This classification aligns with PMI’s PMBOK® Guide framework for differentiating environmental factors from organizational process assets.
