Its A. Transparent mode puts the Firepower inline at layer 2, so it inspects traffic without acting as a router or changing the hop count. Routed mode would bump hops. Seen this come up in practice labs, makes sense here.
A. since transparent mode won't add hops. Pretty sure that's the key difference for inside subnet monitoring.
A imo since transparent mode lets the firewall monitor intra-subnet traffic without routing it, so hop count doesn't change. Had something like this in a mock before, pretty sure that's the point. Agree?
