Q: 1
An engineer is implementing Cisco FTD in the network and is determining which Firepower mode to
use. The organization needs to have multiple virtual Firepower devices working separately inside of
the FTD appliance to provide traffic segmentation Which deployment mode should be configured in
the Cisco Firepower Management Console to support these requirements?

Option D Only multi-instance gets you actual separate virtual FTDs inside one appliance. The rest can't handle that requirement.
D
Multi-instance lets you split the physical FTD into multiple virtual devices, so you can segment traffic as needed. I remember a similar question on a practice test, pretty sure this is what they're looking for. The others don't support true separation. Agree?

Had something like this in a mock, isn't D the only deployment that lets you carve out separate virtual FTDs with real segmentation? Nothing else meets that requirement here.
Hmm, I always thought B (single-context) handled segmentation too, but maybe I'm mixing it up with ASA multi-context. B.
