Q: 10
An administrator has been tasked with the deletion of a workload domain within a VMware Cloud
Foundation (VCF) instance. The following information has been provided:
• There are two workload domains and a management domain within the VCF instance.
• There is a single vSphere cluster within the workload domain to be deleted.
• There are no user created Virtual Machines in the workload domain cluster.
When performing the deletion in VCF Operations, the task fails at the Gather input for deletion of
NSX component stage. The administrator checks the details of the failed task and notices the cause of
the error is stated as Cannot read the array length because "" is null.
What could be the possible cause of this error message?

Option B. saw a very similar one in practice tests. Manual deletion from NSX Manager causes this issue.
Option B makes sense because if you delete the Edge cluster directly in NSX Manager, SDDC Manager can't find it anymore and throws that null array error. VCF expects to manage resources itself, not see them disappear out of band. Pretty sure that's the scenario here but let me know if I'm missing something.
B
B fits best here. Deleting the NSX Edge cluster straight from NSX Manager messes up the VCF workflow and throws that null array error. I saw something like this in official practice labs, but happy to be corrected if I'm missing a test scenario.
B not D here. When you delete the Edge cluster in NSX Manager directly, it breaks VCF's object tracking and causes the null array error. D is a tempting trap but doesn't match the exact failure message. Similar question came up in some practice, anyone think otherwise?
B looks right here since deleting the Edge cluster directly from NSX Manager makes SDDC Manager lose track of it, causing that null array error in the workflow. Pretty sure only B fits based on how VCF expects all changes through its own orchestration. If someone's run into another valid case let me know, but I think this is spot on.
I don't think D is right, the array null error is a typical sign that B happened. Deleting Edge clusters from NSX Manager outside VCF workflow breaks inventory sync. Seen similar reports in exam discussions, but open to corrections if someone ran into another scenario.
D
Had a similar scenario from practice labs, it's B here.
Its B but not totally sure. Null array error makes sense if the Edge cluster is deleted straight from NSX Manager.
