Q: 1
An administrator has a vSphere 8.0 update 3 environment with the following configuration:
• A 3-node vSAN cluster
• A vSphere Standard Switch (VSS)
• Several standalone ESX hosts in the vCenter inventory
They want to convert this vSphere environment into a new VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.0
management domain.
Identify two changes they will need to make before converting this vSphere environment into a
VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF) Management domain? (Choose two.)

B tbh, since I've seen similar questions in some official practice tests where they ask about prerequisite versions. Could be worth double-checking the VMware guide or latest blueprint.
I don’t think it’s C and D only. B, since I've seen version upgrades as a requirement on some VMware official practice tests. Check the product documentation or hands-on labs to confirm.
C or A. I figured you’d need to configure a Distributed Switch (C), but part of me thinks you might also need to remove the Standard Switch from inventory (A). Not 100% on A, open to corrections.
I don't think it's just C and D. Wouldn't removing the Standard Switch (A) also be necessary, since VCF doesn't support VSS in the management domain? Or is just migrating to vDS (C) enough, even if VSS stays configured? Curious if anyone's actually done this and left a VSS behind.
C/D? VCF management domain only supports vDS, so C is a must. You also can't have random standalone hosts hanging around in vCenter when deploying, so D too. Don't think A or B are required here. Seen similar requirements before, but if anyone's done the conversion recently and saw different steps let me know.
Probably C and D here. You have to set up a vSphere Distributed Switch since VCF doesn't support Standard Switches, plus the inventory needs to only include hosts for the management domain, so standalone ESXi hosts gotta go. Pretty sure that's the best fit based on what I've seen, but open to other takes if someone sees it differently.
Looks like it should be C and D. VCF needs a vSphere Distributed Switch and clean inventory, not just any config.
Option C and D make sense here. For VCF, you need a vSphere Distributed Switch for management domain, so configuring VDS (C) is required. Removing standalone hosts from vCenter (D) is also a step since the inventory has to be clean. I get why B looks tempting, but the question’s about config changes, not version upgrades. Anyone see it differently?
My vote is C and D
Option C and D. VCF needs a Distributed Switch and no leftover standalone hosts for management bring-up.
