I don't think it's D here. The key part is DOCSIS coming from the ISP, which pretty much always requires a cable modem (C) to convert the signal before anything else connects. Router looks tempting but it'd go after the modem, not directly to DOCSIS. Open to other takes but that's how I've seen it in similar practice sets.
Its C, had something like this in a mock and cable modem fits the DOCSIS scenario.
D or C, depends on if they're asking before or after the LAN gets involved.

Yeah, it's definitely C. The cable modem is what handles DOCSIS from the ISP side before you connect anything else like a router or switch. Router or firewall would come after that but they can't talk directly to the cable line. Pretty sure about this one, but open if someone sees it differently.
