A not D here, since DNS misconfig breaks hostname lookup but IP or gateway issues would block all traffic, not just domain joining. Happens a lot on practice exams.

Feels like A for DNS. That hostname resolution error always points to DNS, not the IPv4 address like D tries to trick you. Seen this trip up people on practice exams.
