Application Diagnostics is a tool for Service Administrators to validate an application's design and identify potential issues. The tool provides flexibility in its scope. An administrator can run the diagnostics on the entire application to get a comprehensive overview. For a more focused analysis, they can choose to evaluate all artifacts of a specific type, such as all forms or all approval units. For granular troubleshooting, the tool also allows for the selection and diagnosis of individually selected artifacts.

A. Application Diagnostics checks for design flaws and best practice violations in artifacts; it does not analyze or evaluate server-side error log files.

B. The diagnostics tool runs against a live, provisioned application. It does not directly evaluate or analyze offline migration snapshots (LCM files).
