In Strategic Modeling, the account structure is flexible. You can add new accounts as siblings to existing standard accounts to expand the chart of accounts. Subaccounts are used to provide a more granular level of detail for a main account. When created, subaccounts inherit key attributes, such as account type and time balance property, from their parent main account. This inheritance is consistent across all time periods, both historical and forecast, ensuring calculation consistency.

A. Creating subaccounts for one account does not automatically create them for other related accounts. This must be done manually for each main account you wish to detail.

B. Standard accounts, like account 2040 which is part of the default template, cannot be deleted. You can only delete user-defined accounts.
