When employees or managers distribute worked time across multiple projects, departments, or other costing segments, Oracle Fusion Time and Labor offers three allocation methods. The user can:

• enter the exact number of Hours for each segment;

• enter the Percentage of the total time card hours that each segment should receive; or

• choose Equally, letting the application divide the total hours evenly among the selected segments.

No other allocation types are delivered in the product, so Hours, Percentage, and Equally are the only valid choices.

A. “Time Card Period” isn’t an allocation method; it’s the span the card covers.

C. “Week” and “Bi-Weekly” are schedule periods, not allocation types.

D. “Number” and “Proportionally” aren’t defined options in the Allocate dialog.
