B tbh. Good question, it tests if you know the difference between Endpoint DLP and MIP client. The MIP client is for labeling and doesn't enable Endpoint DLP protection on its own. Endpoint DLP works if devices are onboarded in the Purview compliance portal, not just by installing the MIP client. Pretty sure B is right here, but open to hearing if I missed anything.
I’d actually pick A. Deploying the Purview client feels like it should enable DLP since it manages information protection, right? Pretty sure there’s overlap with labeling and policy enforcement. Not 100 percent though, maybe I’m missing the device onboarding requirement.
A isn’t correct here, it’s B. Deploying just the Purview client doesn’t turn on Endpoint DLP protection for Windows endpoints. Saw similar guidance in docs, but happy to hear if anyone has other info.

B for sure. Installing the Purview Information Protection client is more about classification and labeling, not enabling Endpoint DLP. Some folks mix this up because Purview does a lot, but DLP protection needs onboarding in the compliance portal. Open to corrections if anyone thinks otherwise!

B , since deploying the Purview Information Protection client alone doesn't activate Endpoint DLP-onboarding devices in the Purview compliance portal is needed for policy enforcement. Similar question showed up in my practice set. If anyone thinks A is right, let me know.
Option A but pretty sure that's the trap since deploying Purview MIP client sounds close to enabling DLP.
