A Platform Administrator at Cloud Kicks has a custom picklist field on Lead, which is missing on the
Contact when leads are converted. Which two steps should the administrator take to ensure these
values are populated?

Option D, setting the picklist as required on Lead, won't populate anything on Contact. Easy to mix up.
C alone isn't enough, you need B too. The custom field has to exist on Contact for mapping (C) to even work.
C
I picked C because mapping the picklist field from Lead to Contact should make the values transfer over. Not sure if creating a new field on Contact is always needed, since I thought mapping alone could do it as long as fields exist. Maybe I'm missing something here?

Are you sure mapping alone (C) would work if the Contact field is missing? Seems like that's the trick here.
B+C, seen this combo in both the official guide and practice tests. You gotta create the Contact field then set up the field mapping or it won't transfer.
I think just C. Mapping should get the value over on conversion, right?
B/C tbh. You need both steps since just mapping without the Contact field present (trap is picking only C) won't transfer anything. Seen similar on previous practice sets, pretty sure that's what they want here.
A is wrong, it's B and C. You gotta have the picklist field created on Contact (B) before mapping it from Lead (C) or mapping alone won't do anything. Seen this trip folks up before, pretty sure that's what they want here.
Official guide covers this, so B and C.
B/C tbh, you have to create the custom picklist on Contact first before you can map anything. Mapping (C) does nothing if the destination field isn't even there. That's bitten me on Salesforce projects a few times, pretty sure that's what they're testing for. Anyone disagree?
