Active IQ OneCollect can ingest a NetApp Professional Services “site design” file and an automatically gathered inventory of an ONTAP SAN environment, then create a Difference Report that highlights every variance between the delivered system and the approved design. This report is produced automatically in HTML/CSV and is the tool NetApp specifies for implementation verification and customer sign-off. NetAppDocs and Harvest only generate static documentation or performance metrics, while Config Advisor focuses on health / best-practice checks rather than design-vs-delivery variance.

A. NetAppDocs – Generates Word/PDF configuration documentation but has no engine to compare two data sets or build a difference report.

C. Active IQ Config Advisor – Validates best-practice compliance; although it can diff two Advisor runs, it cannot import a design file or produce formal site-design difference documentation.

D. Harvest – Collects ONTAP performance metrics for Grafana/InfluxDB; provides no configuration or difference-report capability.
