Option A makes the most sense. You want backups and to upgrade in phases during off-peak hours, so if something fails, it doesn't kill the whole network. Everything at once (like B) is just too risky. Pretty sure this is the best practice but happy to hear if anyone disagrees.
A wins here. Backing up configs and doing upgrades off-peak with a phased rollout means way less risk if something breaks, and you can roll back. B sounds faster but too risky all at once imo. Anyone see practice tests covering a different approach?
Why not B? Simultaneous upgrades everywhere looks simple, but if something fails you risk a network-wide outage instead of catching issues early.
A phased rollout with backups during off-peak hours (A) is the safest for upgrades since if something’s wrong you catch it early and don’t break everything at once. B is way too risky, C isn’t secure and D just adds disruption. I think A’s best, agree?
Its A for me. Taking backups and rolling out in phases during off-peak time just reduces risk so much compared to B. Doing everything at once can create a big mess if something fails. Pretty sure that's standard practice but let me know if anyone thinks otherwise.
D . B looks tempting but hitting all sites at once is a big risk, and C's just not safe. D isn't great either though as peak hours upgrades can cause chaos. A seems safest but open to other arguments.
A tbh, B is a trap since upgrading everywhere at once can cause massive outages if there's an issue.

Ugh, these vendor questions always make it sound like "uniform upgrades" is safest but it's always A-off-peak, phased rollout, configs backed up. Seen similar on official practice and A keeps coming up.
Its B, saw a similar question on an official practice set. Guide recommends SCM for uniform upgrades I think.
