Q: 10
An administrator using a dark site deployment for LCM is attempting to upgrade to the latest BIOS.
After completing an inventory scan, the administrator does not see the expected BIOS version
available for upgrade.
What is the most likely reason the latest BIOS is not shown?

C or B. I keep seeing arguments for both, but without knowing if the compatibility bundle was put in, B makes sense. Still, sometimes specific hardware wants BMC updated first so that’s why I’m hesitating.
I don’t think it’s C, BMC upgrades aren’t always needed just to see the latest BIOS. B is the real issue here, since LCM won’t list new firmware unless the latest compatibility bundle’s been uploaded manually on a dark site. C tends to be a distractor on these kinds of questions. Disagree?
Gotta be B-the compatibility bundle just isn't there, so LCM can't present the upgrade. In a dark site you have to upload those bundles manually before anything shows up for firmware updates. Seen folks miss this since LCM can't pull stuff automatically. If someone got a different result with BMC versions though, let me know.
Its B
B, had something like this in a mock. Usually missing the compatibility bundle causes that in dark site setups.
B for me, since LCM can't show the latest BIOS unless you've manually uploaded the newest compatibility bundle in a dark site setup. C gets mixed up sometimes but BMC isn't always a blocker for this. Pretty sure it's B, but open to hearing arguments otherwise.
B , had something like this in a mock. If the bundle's not uploaded, LCM just can't show the new BIOS update. Pretty sure that's it.
Probably B, since on dark sites you need to manually upload the compatibility bundle or LCM won't list new BIOS versions. Official guide and practice tests both point to missing bundles as the usual cause for this scenario.
I don't think it's C. B is correct, since in a dark site you have to upload the latest compatibility bundle manually or the new BIOS version just won't show up. C is a trap, because BMC isn't always required before BIOS updates here.
C tbh, I've seen hardware where the BMC needs to be at a minimum version before you can update the BIOS. LCM might not show the new BIOS if BMC is too old, so that's my reasoning. Maybe not every case but sounds plausible for some setups. Could be off though if it's just about missing bundles.
