[Spectrum-X Configuration]
What is the purpose of configuring NVUE to ignore Linux files?

Discussion
Option B not D. D is a common distractor but ignore-files is about mixing NVUE and flat-file config. Anyone disagree?
Option B, Lets you use both NVUE and traditional flat file configs for certain settings without them clashing. Pretty sure that's the main reason, since it avoids unwanted overwrites.
Not sure D is right, since improving security isn’t the focus with ignore-files. B is what I’ve seen in similar practice sets-a common trap here is thinking it’s about attack surface, but it’s really for managing settings both ways. Disagree?
Pretty sure it's B since ignore-files is all about letting you manage certain config via both NVUE and standard flat files without overwriting changes. D sounds security-related but that's not the main goal here. Anyone think differently?
B
Man, the wording tripped me up on similar question, but B for dual config is what's expected here.
D , since ignoring Linux files could mean reducing the attack surface by keeping fewer files under NVUE’s control. Might help Cumulus security that way, at least in theory. Let me know if I'm off here.
B
D, not B
B D is tempting as a distractor since security comes up a lot, but similar exam questions point to B because ignore-files is mainly about config persistence, not hardening. Open to hearing if I'm missing another angle.
