Yeah, it's A. Even with RF3, LCM does upgrades one node at a time for safety. You can technically survive more failures, but having only one node in maintenance keeps things smooth and minimizes risk. Let me know if someone saw this behave differently.
Q: 14
An administrator is performing AHV upgrades on an 8-node cluster configured with Redundancy
Factor 3.
How many nodes would be placed into maintenance mode simultaneously?

A. only one node in maintenance at any time no matter the RF level.
C or D, since with RF3 you have more fault tolerance so maybe multiple nodes could be put in maintenance at once? But I haven't seen a clear answer in the official guide yet. Anybody tried this in a real cluster or checked the latest Nutanix docs?
Yeah, it's A for upgrades. Only one node at a time, even with RF3.
A tbh
A Pretty sure only one node goes into maintenance at a time during AHV upgrades, even with RF3. B is a common trap since redundancy factor lets you lose more nodes, but the process is still sequential for safety.
Probably B since the Tasks dashboard in Prism shows the live progress of each LCM update as it runs.
