HOTSPOT You have a Microsoft 365 tenant that uses Microsoft Skype for Business on-premises. You plan to upgrade to Microsoft Teams in stages based on groups. The features required by each group are shown in the following table.

Which mode would you pick for a group that still needs some Skype for Business meetings but also wants new Teams chats?
Not sure if the upgrade policy should be TeamsOnly for all, or a mix with Islands mode based on group needs. Anyone remember which mode fits better if they still need Skype features?
Had something like this in a mock, set Islands for groups still needing Skype and TeamsOnly for pure Teams users.
Islands mode, since if any group still needs Skype features you can’t just set TeamsOnly right away.
Nah, Islands mode is a common trap here. Go with TeamsOnly for groups that don’t need Skype features.
I'd map the upgrade mode to what each group needs. If a group still needs access to Skype for Business features, set them to Islands mode. If they only need Teams, put them as TeamsOnly. Not totally sure for split scenarios though.
