Q: 5
What is the keyboard shortcut to insert the current date in a cell in Microsoft Excel?
Options
Discussion
A or B but regional keyboard might flip this if semicolon is mapped differently.
Its B
A is it. Ctrl + ; drops today's date right into the cell, but B (Ctrl + Shift + ;) puts in the time instead. Easy to mix up if you're moving fast-seen tricky questions on this before. Anyone think there's a trick with layouts?
A
Option A had something like this in a mock before.
A imo, saw this on a similar exam set.
Not B, it's A. B gives you current time, which trips some people up on practice tests.
A
Probably A. Ctrl + ; is the standard shortcut for date in Excel, but B is easy to confuse since it inserts the time instead. Not 100% sure if this changes with regional keyboards, though.
A is correct here, but are we talking about the standard US keyboard layout? If this was a non-US layout or a Mac, the shortcut could be different.
