Maybe C and D, had something like this in a mock where BGP local pref made me pick those two.
These Juniper questions always twist BGP basics. It's A and B.
Yep, both A and B fit the BGP local preference logic here.
I don’t think it’s C or D. A and B fit since ISP B doesn't even advertise 172.20.21.0/24, so preference for that has to be ISP A, and local-pref makes devices pick ISP B for 172.20.0.0/24. Trap is thinking both ISPs advertise all prefixes.
Seen similar on practice, A and B match Juniper's exam guide logic for prefix selection.
Honestly looks like C and D to me.
Not convinced about A. I'm picking D and C since ISP B advertises higher local pref so AS 65512 should prefer B for prefixes they both announce. Could be missing something if the 172.20.21.0/24 isn't announced by ISP B though, but that's how I read the exhibit.
Why does Juniper keep tossing these multi-selects with local-pref? Pretty sure it's A and B, same as the usual practice sets.
Yeah, AB. Local pref only matters for prefixes both ISPs have, but only A advertises 172.20.21.0/24.
AB for sure. That's exactly how it's shown in the official guide and most Juniper BGP lab scenarios, local pref only kicks in for prefixes both ISPs advertise. But I'd double-check with some practice questions just to be sure.
