Marvis Minis is a feature where a Juniper Access Point (AP) simulates a wireless client to proactively test the network and services like DHCP, DNS, and application reachability. This functionality is embedded within the AP's operating system. Therefore, for an AP to be able to act as a Marvis Mini, it must be running a firmware version that includes the necessary software capabilities. New features and enhancements, including Marvis Minis, are delivered through AP firmware updates.
Why Incorrect
A. WAN Assurance is a separate subscription for Juniper SRX gateways and is not required for the WLAN-focused Marvis Minis feature.
B. Premium Analytics is an add-on subscription for advanced data analysis and reporting; it is not a prerequisite for the core Marvis Minis functionality.
D. While a Marvis Mini tests a WLAN, which is defined in a template, the WLAN template itself is not the requirement for the feature to exist on the AP.
