Which command-line interface (CLI) tool is commonly used to configure network settings on Linux-
based systems?

Option C makes sense. ifconfig is the classic Linux tool, while ipconfig is just for Windows, so that's a trap. Unless they're specifically asking for the modern replacement, I'd go with C here.
C. that's the one I keep running into in labs and old exams.
Honestly, C is right for this as "configure" is the keyword. ifconfig is still what you see in lots of Linux exam questions, even if newer distros push "ip" instead. If the question said 'modern replacement', I'd reconsider.
B. saw a similar question and picked that thinking of DNS lookups.
Anyone else use the official courseware labs to practice these CLI tools? I remember seeing ifconfig pop up a lot in their exercises, so C seems most common. Pretty sure that matches what's in the study guide too.
Its D, since ping is what you use most for basic network checks on Linux, not really ifconfig.
C/D? I keep thinking ping is for testing but maybe that's a trap here.
C imo. ifconfig shows up a lot on older exams, and it's still used for basic Linux network config stuff. Not as new as ip but fits with what HP asks. Saw something like this in a practice test recently.
C or A, honestly. I went with A (ipconfig) at first since that's what I always use on Windows, and just blanked on the Linux part. Probably supposed to be C but easy to mix those up. Someone else pick A too?
Option A made sense to me because I remembered using ipconfig for network stuff, but that's actually more for Windows. Had something like this in a mock, and picked A by mistake. Guessing some might mix those up.
