The first thing that the consultant should do when enabling Course Connections for the first time in
EDA is to set record types for Course Connections. Record types allow the consultant to define
different types of course connections, such as instructor, student, or teaching assistant. Record types
also determine the page layout and picklist values for each type of course connection. Running
Course Connections Backfill, setting up Course Offering Schedule, and disabling Course Enrollments
are not the first steps to enable Course Connections in EDA. Reference:
