ArcGIS Server System Requirements: "The directories used by ArcGIS Server to store caches and other data can also be large. For example
if you create caches for your services
the disk space required can easily be tens or hundreds of gigabytes... For this reason
it's important that you have a separate disk or partition for the server directories."
