Does anyone know if "Query activity" (option C) actually shows usernames and query statements for past queries? I know queryinsights (B) has that info for filtering historical data, but I haven't used Query activity much so not sure if it covers everything needed for troubleshooting older performance issues.
Q: 7
You have a Fabric workspace that contains a warehouse named Warehouse1.
While monitoring Warehouse1, you discover that query performance has degraded during the last 60
minutes.
You need to isolate all the queries that were run during the last 60 minutes. The results must include
the username of the users that submitted the queries and the query statements. What should you
use?

I'd say C here. Query activity should display recent queries, including user info and statements, so for something within the last 60 minutes it likely covers what's needed unless retention is super short. Not seeing why queryinsights is the only choice unless they want deep historical data.
C/D? Query activity shows recent queries, so I'd think it covers the last hour for most cases.
C or B? Query activity (C) is fast for live stuff but I think only B (queryinsights views) gives you all the columns you need including username and query text for past 60 min. Not 100% sure if C includes statement, so I'd probably go with B, open to debate.
C/D? Query activity (C) gives some info in the UI, but not full history with usernames and statements like the queryinsights views do. I'm pretty sure B is better for pulling details over a specific time window.
Makes sense to use B for this. The queryinsights schema gives you historical query logs so you can filter by time and pull user plus statement details, which the others don't really cover.
B tbh, C looks tempting but usually doesn't show you all past user/query details across a custom timeframe. Queryinsights views (B) are designed for this historical breakdown. D only shows active queries so that's the trap here.
Maybe B. Only the queryinsights views can show detailed history for a specific time and include usernames plus the actual query text. C is more surface level I think, but not fully sure on all features.
Its B. Check official docs or the Microsoft Learn guide for queryinsights usage.
Option C I know B is designed for history, but "Query activity" looks like it should list recent queries with user info too, right? Maybe missing a detail the exam wants though.
