Why can't we just use abfs with the blob endpoint here? Does Lakehouse always require dfs for shortcuts or is there a scenario where blob works too?
abfss connection and dfs endpoint. The blob endpoint is a common trap here, but Lakehouse needs the dfs path for HNS support.
Is anyone else seeing both abfss connection and dfs endpoint as the standard in the official guide? Pretty sure MS Learn walks through that combo for Lakehouse shortcuts. Worth double-checking labs just in case.
Does the question ask for the most secure or just any valid way? That would change which protocol is best.
Looks like it should be abfs connection with the blob endpoint, since abfs points to ADLS Gen2 and blob.core.windows.net is the main access URL. At least, that's what I saw in exam reports. But maybe dfs is more optimal?
