When should preventive maintenance be undertaken?

B , had something like this in a mock and usually we only jump in after failures get reported. Makes sense for regular maintenance, right? Correct me if I'm missing something.
D , official guide and practice questions say preventive maintenance is scheduled not failure-based.
Likely it's D, since preventive maintenance is all about those scheduled checks, not just reacting to failures. Agree?
B , since we normally get called in after something breaks or is reported broken. Preventive feels more like responding to issues than just random scheduling, at least from what I've seen. Happy to be corrected here!
Probably D for this one, even though B sounds tempting if you’re thinking reactive. AVIXA usually wants the scheduled check angle for preventive maintenance. If I'm missing something, happy to hear other views.
In practice, I feel like it's usually B. We get called in after there's a problem, then do the maintenance.
It’s D, preventive maintenance is always about doing scheduled checks even if nothing broke. B is more for reactive or corrective maintenance after something actually fails. AVIXA wording usually wants the proactive answer here. Let me know if you see it differently but pretty sure it’s D.
D or maybe B if they meant corrective, but with "preventive maintenance" specifically mentioned, it has to be D (scheduled times). Seen similar wording on other AVIXA sets, they always want the proactive schedule angle for this.
D or B? Always confuses me since in practice we fix things after they break, but for preventive maintenance it's gotta be D. Scheduled checks catch issues before failures, that's what AVIXA wants here I think. Disagree?
B tbh. Usually fix stuff after a failure report, right?
