[Developing AV Solutions]
A client wants to upgrade tire AV system in a boardroom and add control of the lights and shades to the control panel. What information is MOST relevant to gather to enable this integration?

D imo, comms protocols matter most since your controller needs to speak the same "language" as the lights and shades. Number of IR ports might help sometimes but not always relevant. Anyone think B actually beats D here?
Not sure about IR ports, honestly. Most important is knowing what protocols the lighting and shade controls use, since the AV controller needs to ‘talk’ to them. Who’s seen systems run over IP or RS-232 lately? D seems right here.
Its B, since a lot of lighting control hardware still relies on IR for integration in some setups.
