Q: 2
As the Lead Assessor, you determine that some details, like wireless entry points, are not included in
the assessment scope. However, the OSC Assessment Official claims that this is covered in the
network enclave. Examining their enclave architecture, you determine it is not covered, but the OSC
Assessment Official insists. What should you do?

Option A. Scope disagreements should be resolved before the assessment begins, that's part of CAP process. No need to escalate right away if you can clarify things directly. Pretty sure that's the intent here.
I don’t think it’s C, A is right. Had something like this in a mock and resolving the disagreement up front is key per CMMC methodology. Only escalate if you can’t reach agreement directly. Agree?
Ugh, CMMC questions love these scope fights. A is best here since you have to try sorting it out with the OSC first before escalating. CAP is all about documented agreement pre-assessment, pretty sure that's what they want.
A imo. I’ve seen similar in practice sets and official guides, always says to settle scope before anything else.
A . CAP says scope disagreements should be worked out before even starting, so you try to resolve it directly first. Reporting (D) comes later only if that fails. Some might pick D but it's too soon in the process.
Likely D would be the next move if the OSC Assessment Official keeps refusing, but not first.
Yeah, A makes the most sense. Scope alignment is a must before starting any CMMC assessment, so trying to resolve it together first is standard. If that fails, then maybe escalate, but not right away. Pretty sure that's how CAP wants it.
Makes sense to me, A. Gotta get agreement on scope before anything else can move forward.
