Your organization hosts its critical customer relationship management (CRM) system on a cloud
platform. To ensure uninterrupted service, you need to develop a Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster
Recovery (DR) strategy that minimizes downtime and data loss in case of a cloud service disruption.
Which of the following strategies is most effective for minimizing both downtime and data loss for the
CRM system?

Option A is the way to go here. Multi-cloud with real-time replication minimizes both downtime and data loss, which daily backups or cold sites just can't match. D is a trap, since uptime SLAs don't guarantee true continuity.
Definitely A for this one. Multi-cloud plus real-time replication gives you the best shot at both low RTO and RPO-way better than daily backups or cold site options. Cloud provider guarantees (D) aren't nearly enough if the CRM is truly critical. I think this matches ISC2's focus, but let me know if you see it differently.
A, Official guide and some real DR/BC scenario labs make this logic obvious for ISC2. Seen similar in practice-A stands out.
Multi-cloud with real-time replication (A) is the strongest for this. Daily or weekly backups mean more data loss and slower recovery, seen similar on exams before. Pretty sure ISC2 wants A but open if someone has a different take.
B
B tbh, daily backups to an offsite location seem like they could help with data loss if there's a major disruption. You'd at least have a copy to restore from, so less risk of losing everything. Not sure if the downtime would be as minimal as with multi-cloud though. Anybody think backups alone could be enough here?
Ugh, ISC2 always loves throwing in the cold site and backup answers, but for real minimal downtime and data loss it has to be A. Multi-cloud plus real-time replication is exactly what they're looking for.
A, Real-time replication with multi-cloud is what reduces both RTO and RPO the most. Cold site or daily backup just can't keep the CRM hot enough if you need non-stop service. I think that's what ISC2 expects for "minimize" both downtime and data loss, but feel free to push back.
I agree with A since real-time replication across multiple clouds cuts downtime and data loss way more than daily backups or a cold site setup. If the CRM is critical, can't risk delays waiting for restores. Pretty sure that's the best fit here but open to other thoughts.
Its A, multi-cloud with real-time replication is spot on for BC/DR. Clear and matches what I've seen in similar questions.
