Salesforce B2C Commerce’s data-import subsystem accepts price-book files in either of two native formats: XML (conforming to pricebook.xsd) or CSV. Business Manager’s “Import Price Books” wizard and the Job Step “Impex – Import Price Books” both list XML and CSV as the only supported file types; JSON is not accepted. Therefore, when exporting a price book from any external system the developer must generate XML or CSV so that the file can be imported without transformation.
