Process Mining is a discipline that analyzes business processes based on event logs. Its capabilities are categorized into three main types. Process Discovery is the most common type, which involves automatically creating a process model from raw event data. Process Conformance compares an existing process model with the event log of the same process to check for deviations. Process Performance (also referred to as Enhancement) extends a process model by analyzing performance-related information, such as processing times, bottlenecks, and resource utilization, to identify areas for improvement.

D. Process Execution refers to the operational running of the process that generates the event data; it is the subject of analysis, not a capability of process mining.
