When a key figure is flagged as Change-History-Enabled, every value change is written to the audit table together with (1) the user who modified the value (“modified” code/ID), (2) the full set of planning-level attributes that identify the record, and (3) any reason code the user supplied. These three data items can therefore always be tracked. Design-time metadata such as key-figure type and objects that act only as normal dimensions (for example, the scenario/version ID) are not recorded explicitly by the change-history function.
