Q: 10
Which operations would you use in a personnel calculation rule (PCR) called by function PIT (Process
the IT table) to reduce the amount of a wage type by 10% and also retain it for further processing?

Option B
I could see why someone might pick A, since AMT 0.90 does the correct calculation. But ADDWT* sends it straight to Output Table, so you'd lose it for further PCR steps if that's needed. Pretty sure A is a common distractor for this type of question. Open to being wrong but that’s how I understand SAP payroll rules.
Nah, not A here. That one trips folks up because ADDWT* puts it in OT table, not IT. B keeps it in IT for more processing-seen this on some practice sets.
B or maybe A, depends how strict they are about "retain for processing". Feels like B but not 100% sure.
Why not just use ADDWT* if you only wanted it in the output? Isn’t ADDWTI needed for more PCR processing?
Guessing B here. The key is using ADDWTI because it puts the changed wage type back into the input table, not just the output. Also, AMT* multiplies by the amount, so AMT* 0.90 cuts it to 90 percent. But if you miss the asterisk or pick ADDWT* instead, it won't work as expected. Not totally sure since operation order can trip you up in SAP payroll schemas, but seems most consistent with how PIT processes PCRs. Anyone disagree with keeping it in IT using B?
B or D? But from what I remember in SAP time evaluation, to reduce by 10% and keep for processing, you'd use AMT* 0.90 with ADDWTI. So probably B.
