A . Anytime you want to avoid duplicates by Entry ID in SAP CPI, "Overwrite Existing Message" is the right check. Saw a similar question on a practice exam. The other options don't actually prevent duplicates, just affect retention or security, not uniqueness.
encountered exactly similar question in my exam. from labs, it's A. Overwrite Existing Message is what you want in CPI to stop duplicate entries since it replaces by Entry ID. The others aren't about duplicates. Pretty sure that's right but open to other thoughts.

A or B? If "Overwrite Existing Message" is checked, it should definitely block duplicate Entry IDs by replacing them, but if the entry IDs are dynamic or not reused, B could come into play for cleaning up excess messages. I think A is the intent here, but depends on how the keys are generated.
A imo. Overwrite Existing Message makes sure you don't end up with two entries for the same ID, it just replaces the old one. B is more retention/cleanup related, not really about duplicate avoidance. If someone used another method, interested to hear.

Its A
I’d say A
B tbh. Retention threshold sounds like it clears out older stuff, which could avoid duplicates if the store fills up.
SAP loves making simple things sound way more complicated in the docs. Pretty sure it's A but that naming trips me up every time. Wouldn't B just be for retention, not duplicates?
